To deploy Neeve Secure Edge, you need to provision and launch Virtual Edge Nodes and connect the required networks. You'll need an Admin role in your company’s Secure Edge account to perform these tasks. Before you begin, review the prerequisites for node and Cloud Connector connectivity.
Edge Nodes are the physical hardware provided by Neeve that connect directly to your IIoT devices. To launch Edge Nodes, use the Neeve Portal as explained in Provision and launch Edge Nodes. However, you will use the Secure Edge Portal to launch Virtual Edge Nodes and to deploy Cloud Connectors.
Virtual Edge Nodes are virtual instances at the network edge that connect your IIoT devices, which you can deploy using Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or VMware.
Cloud Connectors, which you can deploy with AWS, VMware, or Azure, link your applications through Edge Nodes to your IIoT devices. Refer to the following articles for specific instructions on provisioning and launching different node types:
